KREUL Metallic Slices Metallic Mix are ultra-thin metal leaf flakes in a mix of metallic shades, designed for decorative gilding effects and eye-catching metallic finishes. The combination of different metallic tones creates a more varied, lively surface and gives decorated objects a distinctive appearance.

The metal leaf flakes can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including wood, glass, paper, canvas, cardboard, plastic, wax, ceramics, porcelain, concrete, terracotta, metal, leather and other materials.

For best results, KREUL Metallic Slices are used together with KREUL Primer for Leaf Metal. The finished decoration can also be protected with a suitable KREUL varnish.

How to Use

1. The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease.
2. Apply KREUL Primer for Leaf Metal and allow it to dry until transparent – for at least 20 minutes.
3. Place the metal leaf flakes onto the prepared surface and gently press them down with a soft, dry brush.
4. Carefully remove excess flakes with a brush or soft cloth.
5. Leave to dry for at least 12 hours, then gently polish the surface with a soft polishing cloth or cotton wool.
6. After several days, it is recommended to protect the decorated surface with KREUL Coating Varnish for Leaf Metal to help protect the metallic decoration from corrosion and environmental exposure.

For outdoor decorations and surfaces such as concrete, plaster, terracotta or clay, the manufacturer recommends using KREUL Zapon Varnish.
