Jesmonite AC730 Liquid is a liquid component designed for use with Jesmonite AC730 Base powder. The 5 kg AC730 Base in your chosen colour is sold separately.

Jesmonite AC730 is a two-component micro-concrete casting system combining a water-based acrylic liquid with a mineral base. It is designed for creating decorative pieces with a stone-like appearance, offering a variety of colours and surface textures.

Mixing

The standard mixing ratio is 5 parts AC730 Base to 1 part AC730 Liquid by weight. For example, mix 500 g of base powder with 100 g of liquid.

Weigh both components: the liquid volume stated in litres is not its weight in kilograms.

Surface Finish and Curing

After demoulding, the surface may be smooth and visually resemble AC100. Suitable surface treatment can reveal the mineral aggregate and stone texture. Only carry out acid etching in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, using a suitable product.

Curing and demoulding times depend on the size and shape of the piece and ambient conditions. AC730 achieves more than 90% of its ultimate strength within the first 24 hours.

Outdoor Use

AC730 is suitable for outdoor decorative pieces. For additional protection against moisture and stains, use a protective sealer compatible with AC730. When choosing COLORTEC or COLORFRESH, follow the application and compatibility instructions for the specific product.
