This is a highly effective superplasticiser for self-compacting concrete. It is innovative, economical and high-quality. 

FLUP® PCE-104 can make concrete flow like honey, giving it a self-compacting property. The active substance is polycarboxylate ether (PCE), the latest technological development in concrete superplasticisers. PCE superplasticisers can be used for ultra-high-performance concrete where the smallest possible quantity of water is required.

It is important to note that self-compacting concrete cannot be vibrated in the same way as normal cast concrete. It finds its own shape and could segregate if vibrated, i.e. the coarse components would settle at the bottom and a puddle of water would form on top.

The amount required is usually very small and depends on the specific concrete formulation. In the best case, one to two kilograms of superplasticiser per tonne of concrete are sufficient. We recommend using FLUP® - PCE-104 as a reference for the recipe, with a dosage of 3–6 grams per kilogram of concrete.
