Casting Resin
Casting Resin
RESIN CAST is a powdered acrylic copolymer and plaster-based casting compound that is prepared simply by mixing it with water. Although the product name includes the word “resin”, it is not a transparent epoxy resin.
Once cured, RESIN CAST forms a strong, opaque material with a smooth, ceramic-like finish. It reproduces fine silicone mould details well and is suitable for a wide range of decorative casting projects.
What Is RESIN CAST Suitable For?
RESIN CAST can be used for:
- decorative vessels;
- trays and bowls;
- candle holders;
- figurines and small sculptures;
- interior décor;
- marble effects;
- terrazzo projects;
- a variety of silicone mould castings.
Why Choose RESIN CAST?
- supplied as a powder – no separate liquid resin component required;
- mixed only with water;
- easy to measure and prepare;
- flows well into moulds and reproduces fine details;
- cures to a strong, opaque material;
- provides a smooth, ceramic-like finish;
- can be coloured and used for decorative effects.
RESIN CAST is a convenient choice if you are looking for a simpler alternative to two-component liquid casting resins and prefer a matt, mineral, ceramic-like finish.
